National Chronic Disease Awareness Day: July 10th

Good Days brings together thousands of health professionals, educators, caregivers and chronic disease patients who agree that by simply increasing national awareness, we can dramatically reduce the number of chronic disease-related deaths and relieve many of the burdens caused by these debilitating illnesses. Visit CDawareness.org to lend your support for National Chronic Disease Awareness Day and help make a difference in the life of a patient.

This year, CDA DAY was recognized directly by 5 states:

  • Connecticut
  • Nevada
  • Oregon
  • Texas
  • Washington

In addition, CDA Day received recognition across 5 additional states through individual city recognition.  This included:

  • Boca Raton, FL
  • Bordertown, NJ
  • Catskill, NY
  • Cuyahoga County, OH
  • Fairfield, CT
  • Frisco, TX
  • Plano, TX
  • Portland, OR
  • Puyallup, WA
  • Washington, D.C.

Also, CDA Day was covered across multiple media outlets, including BusinesswIre, Huffington Post, The Lund Report, and The Mighty.

We’re incredibly thankful for the support of the many states and cities that joined Good Days to raise awareness this year.  We look forward to continuing working with people across the country to increase awareness and support for people (patients, caregivers, loved ones) affected by a chronic disease for the next CDA Day.
