National Walking Day is recognized the first Wednesday in April every year!
The Good Days team celebrated National Walking Day by getting outside and taking a walk. Walking is an excellent way to improve your health. Increasing physical activity and reducing the amount of sedentary time contributes to preventing and managing heart disease, diabetes and helps reduce stress. This is just one way that Good Days supports healthy initiatives in an effort to spread awareness about preventing chronic conditions that are caused by key risk factors, like not getting enough physical exercise.
