Care Navigator I

The Care Navigator is responsible for mastery of inbound and outbound call handling, patient enrollment and administration. This position requires attention to detail, ability to multi task, and commitment to maintain a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. A high level of customer service is required for this position.


  1. Possess high-quality customer service skills by displaying courtesy, sensitivity, and professionalism at all times.
  2. Effectively communicate with patients and partners.
  3. Responsible for handling inbound calls with ability to determine needs and handle accordingly using training and/or documentation provided.
  4. Ability to collect information, creates, and completes referrals and accounts.
  5. Ability to resolve caller questions and concerns regarding status of requests for assistance.
  6. Be knowledgeable in general insurance billing methods and pharmacy operations.
  7. Ability to properly utilize all systems for maximum efficiencies (Word, Excel, MS Outlook, Company proprietary software, DiseaseTrak, telephone, and call center software).
  8. Ability to process all patient applications completely in accordance to all current policy, procedures and PHI compliance standards.
  9. Ability to operate during assigned work hours. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential element of the job.
